In January, I had the pleasure of visiting Southern England where they are making absolutely fantastic wines. They are known mostly for sparkling, but I also tried some delicious whites and lighter reds. This is a region that you will be hearing more and more about. Trust me!
So...it's time for an event (sort of). Unlike some of my previous Brut on the Road events, this one will be a little different. As I am not an importer, and many of the wines of England are small production and not yet distributed in the United States, I wasn't able to bring in more than a few options to feature.
So, instead of having the entire list be featured wine for a one day event, starting on Tuesday, March 11th, until they sell out, I will have two sparkling wines and a Pinot Blanc by the glass for you to enjoy.
And...I would highly suggest that you put this region on your list of travels. The food, wine, and people were all amazing!

Futuristic Family Drama Raises Questions about AI
A family drama blending the dynamics of caring for an aging relative with the possibilities of artificial intelligence will take the Ten Fifteen stage this spring. Directed by Markus Brown, four actors will tell explore the realms of how technology defines what is true. Would you want your memories to live forever?
About the Show:
It’s the age of artificial intelligence, and 85-year-old Marjorie — a jumble of disparate, fading memories — has a handsome new companion who’s programmed to feed the story of her life back to her. What would we remember, and what would we forget, if given the chance? In this richly spare, wondrous new play, Jordan Harrison explores the mysteries of human identity and the limits — if any — of what technology can replace.
This production includes themes of suicide and may not be appropriate for all audiences.

Marjorie - Priscilla McRoberts
Walter - Ethan Taylor
